Abstract Painting

I began painting with pink and green on opposite ends of the canvas. In the middle, I wanted it to look like some of the green was going into the pink, and the pink was going into the green, but not blended together.

I started adding lines to hopefully provide a sort of outline for other areas of color. I also used the thicker paint in a few areas.

I wasn't completely thrilled with how it was turning out, so I put yellow for more pops of color, in addition to smaller shapes.

I used the thicker paint in areas where I wanted it to be a bit 3D or textured. Adding a mixture of white and green, I used a larger brush for presumably larger shapes.

I started by creating a wash for the painting, consisting of a very light blue and red. Then I used charcoal and "doodled" how I felt that day.

With those same colors, I outlined the charcoal and added extra shapes like circles or a few triangles

I mixed together white, with a tiny bit of yellow. I added a few lines with that combination.

Using white, I made more shapes. Then I made a mini painting in the corners with the thick paint. This consisted of three colors: dark red, a deep yellow, and dark green.
